Twenty years after the Round Table in Poland, the "Chair of Two Decades" Award has been handed out by "The Warsaw Voice".

For 19 years, "The Warsaw Voice" weekly has been granting the annual "Chair of the Year" Award to people, institutions, objects or even phenomena that have had a special influence on Poland. The statuette shows a movie director who has the ability to create and influence the world.

This year on February 26, 2009, a special "Chair of Two Decades" has been granted to Lech Wałęsa and Leszek Balcerowicz.

The Winners of "Chair of the Year" Award granted in previous years were: Donald Tusk, Polish economy, Rafał Blechacz, Marek Belka, Jerzy Hausner, Danuta Hübner, Adam Małysz, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, Bronisław Geremek, Jerz Buzek, Tadeusz Mazowiecki, the passenger car, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, Warsaw Stock Exchange, Hanna Suchocka, Jan Krzysztof Bielecki, Leszek Balcerowicz, Lech Wałęsa.
