Last Tuesday, representatives of Von der Heyden Group (VdHG) and Poznań city authorities took part in the opening ceremony of construction of Andersia Property, an office and hotel complex located on pl. Andersa. The first stage, located next to Poznań Financial Center which is owned by VdHG, is scheduled for completion in 2006 and will consist of 44,000 sqm of office, service and retail space. On the first few floors will be a four star hotel with 171 room. Although the hotel operator has not yet been chosen, IBB, the operator of VdHG's Lublinianka Hotel in Lublin, seems to be an obvious candidate, admits Sven von der Heyden, president of VdHG. The initial rent for offices is 16.5 to 19 depending on the floor. Construction of this phase will cost $ 60 mln. Andersia Tower, owned by Von der Heyden Group and the City of Poznań, will be over 100 meters high and will be the highest building in Poznań with a restaurant on the top floor. The company also plans construction of another building, consisting of 35,000 sqm, between Andersia Tower and Poznań Financial Center. The date when the construction is to start has not been announced yet.
