The Von der Heyden Group has won a tender to buy and re-develop 3 historical buildings in Gdańsk's old town into a 4-star hotel The Długi Targ Hotel will have 44 rooms, a banquet hall, restaurant and fitness facilities. The total area will be app. 2500 sqm. The tender was organized by Millennium Bank. Spanish chain IBB Hotels are to run the hotel.

The re-construction work is due to begin in autumn this year and to be complete the following winter. When ready, the estimated value of the hotel will be app. EUR 7.5 mln.
