The Von Der Heyden Group (VDHG) has received final permission to begin work on the Maraton Gardens residential estate in Poznań. The building permit was originally granted in March 2006, but work was delayed after the Wielkopolska voivodship questioned its legality. VDHG is currently tendering for a general contractor, with the decision due at the end of March. The flats will go on sale after this date. VDHG has also received a building permit for a renovation project in Warsaw on ul. Wilcza 22.  Construction work on the €4 million (zł.15.4) residential investment is to start in April. The developer is also in negotiations with Warsaw's local authorities over the plans for the Nowy Świat Atrium - a redevelopment of a courtyard into 59 apartments with a commercial component and with a total usable area of 4,270 sqm. The redevelopment has a value of approximately €10 (zł.38.6) million. This investment will not be started before the beginning of 2008.
