The Von Der Heyden Group has received final permission to begin work on the Maraton Gardens residential estate in Poznań.  The building permit was originally granted in March 2006, but work was held up after the Wielkopolska voivodship questioned its legality. Now the General Inspector of Building Control (GINB) has legalized the permit and the 251 apartment project between ul. Królowej Jadwigi and ul. Maratońska can go ahead. The VDHG group is currently tendering for a general contractor, with the decision due at the end of March, after which the flats will go on sale.

A building permit has also been received for a renovation project in Warsaw on ul. Wilcza 22. Construction work on the EUR 4 mln residential investment is to start in April. The developer is also in negotiations with Warsaw's local authorities over the plans for Nowy Świat Atrium - an app. EUR 10 mln redevelopment of a courtyard into 59 apartments with a commercial component and with a total useable area of 4,270 sqm. This investment will not be started before the beginning of 2008.
