Poznań was considered to have not enough high standard hotel places, but that is changing rapidly. This month, a new luxury standard hotel has been opened on the 10 highest floors of the new skyscraper situated at Andersia square. The 4-star Ibb Andersia hotel has been receiving guests since August.

This the first hotel of the Spanish chain Ibb in Poznan, and the second one in Poland (after Lublin). The grand opening is planned for November. According to Katarzyna Kołodziejczyk, a director of Ibb Andersia, there was a need for new 4-star hotels in Poznań, and she is pleased with their pre-bookings. The hotel interiors were designed by PRC Architekci design office, and architects were Ewa i Stanisław Sipińscy design office.

The hotel has 1000 s.m. of conferencing facilities, and can accommodate events for 800 people. There are 8 halls situated on the first floor. Ibb Andersia Hotel has 171 rooms, including a Presidential Apartment (with more than 100 s.m.). Prices range from 120 euro to 490 for the Presidential Apartment.

The investor and developer of the project is Von der Heyden Group.
